Auditions
What to know before you audition:
Auditions take place on Shawnee State University’s campus.
There is no fee for any of our auditions.
If your child is cast in the show, be prepared for a commitment! Our rehearsal process is immersive and runs anywhere from 6-12 weeks between auditions and showtime. Schedule conflicts should be cleared with the director before accepting a part in the show.
Preparing for an audition is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Prepare a 45-60 second acapella song (no background music) to sing for the casting committee.
Be ready to read from the script of the show alone and/or with others auditioning.
Have a positive attitude!
